A scenic 20-minute drive north brings you to Schroon Lake, a very charming unexpectedly vibrant lakefront towns in the Adirondacks. Enjoy some local “flavor” in several bars along Main Street. Walk down to the park and see the lake or better yet enjoy a swim. The walkable lovely mix of the park, shops, restaurants, and bars along Main Street is refreshing.

- Restaurant hours and days change seasonally in the Adirondacks- call, don’t depend on google.
- You don’t necessarily need a reservation except for high season or an important dinner or for fine dining. We recommend calling ahead for reservations and hours- we are happy to assist.
- Many restaurants offer seasonal outdoor seating
- Takeout options are widely available. Bring it back to the lodge and pick up a picnic basket on our dining room table to enjoy your dinner on your room porch or the boat house deck
